The ground at Galway is Good. The first of seven races on the National Hunt card is off at 4.25pm. The forecast is for it to remain dry today and tomorrow.

Guitar Pete is a notable non runner in the featured Grade Three Ballybrit Novice Chase (6.25pm). That leaves four to go to post with Rock The World heading the market for Jessica Harrington and Barry Geraghty.

There is plenty of support for Runyon Rattler in the maiden hurdle at 4.55pm. The former Kilbeggan bumper winner is now 6/4 from 7/2.

Meanwhile, ahead of Irish Champions Weekend, the going at Leopardstown is now Good to Firm, Good in places (on the outside track) and Good, Good to Firm in places (on the inside track).

The Curragh reports its ground to be Good (in the straight) and Good to Firm (on the round course). The forecast is dry to Thursday and changeable thereafter.
