The four day August Festival gets under way on Wednesday at 5.20pm.

Ahead of racing on Saturday and Sunday, the Curragh reports its going to be Good to Firm on the straight and Good to Firm, Firm in places on the round course. Watering will take place on the round track. The forecast is dry today, changeable thereafter.
