The going remains good ahead of this afternoon's rescheduled meeting at Thurles.

There was a further 9mm of rain overnight at the Co. Tipperary venue, and the forecast is for a cool and bright day with showers.

There is free entry to all patrons, and the first on a seven-race card gets underway at 12.50pm.

The county also hosts Grade 2 action on Thursday with the Clonmel Oil Chase, and last year's winner Alpha Des Obeaux is among the 11 entries.

The advance going at Clonmel is good, yielding in places, on the hurdle course while the chase track is currently good.

There has been 15mm on rain since Thursday, and the forecast is unsettled with the prospect of a further 10-12mm before raceday.
