Following on from Juyush, Just Brilliant and Sabrina Fairchild the winners keep flowing for Sarah Lynam, the latest arriving courtesy of Irish Ambassador (4/1 joint favourite) in the first split of the Follow Us On Twitter @DundalkStadium Handicap.

The Dunshaughlin-based handler has care of Irish Ambassador for her uncle Bryan Lynam, and the chestnut was here shedding his maiden tag at the 15th time of asking.

In the hands of Chris Hayes the 4/1 joint favourite held on by a neck from 33/1 chance Philly’s Hope. The winning trainer’s father Eddie supplied the fourth home, Masalai.

In the aftermath Sarah Lynam reflected: “My uncle Bryan deserved that as he's been very patient with him.

“He's been driving us all mad, he has the ability but he's a bit of a monkey. I'm glad it's worked out.

“Chris gets a great tune out of him and gave him a great ride. I think he has him sussed now, hopefully he does. He'll keep us guessing though I'd say.”
