Lola Beaux may go to the well once more this autumn following her terrific display at the Curragh on Sunday.

Jessica Harrington's filly made the transition into Group Three company with consummate ease when she chased home Qualify in the CL and MF Weld Park Stakes.

The two-year-old daughter of Equiano had previously won a seven-furlong Dundalk maiden with some authority. Although she is unlikely to be seen again in her homeland this year, a trip across the Irish Sea has not entirely been ruled out.

Owner Hayley O'Connor, well known in her PR role for Ladbrokes, said: " Finishing second was a case of what might have been, but I was very happy with her and proud to see her run so well in a truly-run race.

"She's entered in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, and if you look at her physically, you'd have to say she has the scope to improve.

"She goes well on fast ground, which is important, but I think she's pretty versatile in that regard.

"Jessie seems to think maybe that's it (for the season), but I said let's keep an open mind.

"There's nothing for her in Ireland, as far as I know, but if she did run again it would probably be in England.

"She's got better each time she has run so it's fingers crossed with our little lady."
