Impatient Partner gave Noel Meade three winners on the day when fending off Stay Humble in the concluding bumper at Cork.

Meade was in Fairyhouse saddling Bel Ami De Sivola to win the Grade B novice handicap chase and Pat's Pick to land the sales bumper.

Impatient Partner tracked the leaders before progressing to the front over six furlongs from home in this two mile three bumper.

He soon had three horses for company on his outer as the field passed the four pole.

The race unfolded at the two marker, though, as Impatient Partner travelled well on the rail and was pursued by the strong-travelling Stay Humble in the centre of the track.

Patrick Mullins went for the whip on odds-on-favourite Stay Humble approaching the final furlong but the pair couldn't reel in Impatient Partner who kept finding for jockey Mark O'Hare.

At the winning post there was two and a quarter lengths between the 5/1 shot and the 4/6f. Denwork was well punted from 13/2 this morning down to 7/2 and came in third but he was 31 lengths in arrears.

Jockey Mark O'Hare said: "He is tough and stayed galloping. The ground is rotten and he ran to the line so you couldn't fault him."
