My Sister Sarah went into plenty of notebooks as she cruised home on debut in the bumper at Roscommon.

The 6/5 favourite eased to the front and sauntered further and further clear in the final furlong to win by nine lengths.

The placed horses were Villa Moura (11/2) in second and Elusive Belle (16/1) in third, beaten 10 and a quarter lengths by the winner.

My Sister Sarah gave trainer Willie Mullins a double on the card as Camelia De Cotte took the opening mares' beginners' chase in good style under Paul Townend.

Patrick Mullins, who put up his declared possible overweight of 2lb on My Sister Sarah, said: "She has a fabulous pedigree being by Martaline and is related to J'Y Vole, a good mare we used to have, and my mother bought her as a foal.

"Her work at home was very good and she actually surprised me with the speed she showed there; at home she is very laid-back but I'd say she can win on the flat and over hurdles.

"She is probably not big enough to jump fences but I'd be very hopeful she will be a black-type mare and she is for sale."
