Arvika Ligeonniere's career hangs in the balance after he was injured when landing the Normans Grove Chase at Fairyhouse earlier this month.

Trainer Willie Mullins has revealed that the four-time Grade One-winning chaser, owned by Rich Ricci, may not race again after making it 10 victories from 18 starts on ground officially described as soft.

Mullins told At The Races: "I'm very worried about the ground at Fairyhouse. He got injured there the last day after putting in an exhibition of jumping, so I'm disappointed with that. I doubt it now if he'll be back. It might be the end of the road for him. We'll see how it is."
