The former Jessica Harrington trained Brother Bear, renamed Beauty Amigo has won for the second time in Hong Kong at Sha Tin racecourse this morning.

When in the care of Harrington the son of Kodiac won three times including twice at listed level when landing the Marble Hill Stakes at the Curragh on his second start in 2017 and taking the Owenstown Stud Stakes at Naas the following year.

The gelding also finished a creditable fourth in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot in his juvenile season.

After joining the powerful John Moore stable in Hong Kong Beauty Amigo took time to acclimatise but has started to find his old form in recent weeks, winning for the first time at the Happy Valley course towards the end of April and today followed that with another nice performance today to take a handicap at Sha Tin.

Irish born rider Neil Callan was also among the winners today prevailing by a short-head on a 20/1 shot called Superb Daddy to record his 250th victory in Hong Kong.

Zac Purton extended his lead to four over Joao Moreira (127 to 123) in the battle for the Jockeys' Championship with a single winner on the eleven race card.
