Jockeys Andrew Leigh and Andrew Lynch were in the news at Leopardstown, with the first named received a suspension and Lynch being stood down through injury.

Leigh was suspended for four days for careless riding in the Ballsbridge Hurdle, on his mount Oilily The stewards deemed Leigh guilty of the offence following an incident early in the straight when Oilily hampered Won In The Dark

Andrew Lynch, meanwhile, was stood down for the remainder of the day with a sore arm, suffered in a fall at Navan yesterday.
