Joules cosy winner for Mullins

Danny Mullins gave One For Joules a fine ride to claim the first division of the two-mile handicap hurdle at Tipperary.

'Shark' Hanlon's charge was always prominent and kicked for home before the second last flight.

The Choisir filly stretched clear of her rivals before the last and kept on well to record a cosy three-and-a-half length victory over 13/8 favourite Worldly Wise

It was the third winner of the new season for Mullins and his sixth over jumps to date.

"Danny gave her a super ride. He's improved massively in the last four months since he started to ride out at Willie Mullins'," said Hanlon.

"This mare is honest but she idled a bit in front. The ground made a big difference today as she wants good ground.

"I had her entered on Sunday but took her out which is a pity. She's not too big and might go back for a Flat race."
