Useful hurdler Tronador (5/2 fav) outstayed rivals to land the McNallys Pharmacy Duleek Maiden Handicap under Colin Keane.

Gordon Elliott 's charge, who won a valuable handicap at last year's Grand National meeting at Aintree, struggled to lie up as Scalor set a good even pace but he picked off rivals in the straight to account for Final Orders by a length and a half with Scalor a further four lengths back in third at the line.

It was the three-times champion jockey's first winner since his Irish Derby success aboard Westover and he trails the suspended Billy Lee (back in action at Bellewstown on Friday) by two in this year's title race.

Stable representative Lisa O'Neill said: "Colin (Keane) was good and strong on him, he can tend to be a bit slow away but he got him rolling coming up the straight and pulled him out wide. It suited him - the further he was going, the better he was going.

"He stays very well and he enjoyed coming up the hill there. He stuck to his task well."
