After winning the fourth on Artistic Melody Colin Keane doubled-up on You Can't Catch Me in the concluding Limerick Racecourse Family Fun Day 9th July Handicap.

Successful on his penultimate start over flights at Clonmel, the Kieran Purcell trained nine-year-old since finished second to Killiney Court at Downpatrick on Sunday last.

Back on the level this evening he was sent off a 5/1 chance, and was settled towards rear by Keane.

He made good progress on the outer from the three furlong pole, and was ridden with under two furlongs left to race.

The bay gelding got to the front inside the final furlong, and kept on best in the closing stages to prevail by three parts of a length. Political Policy (14/1) kept on well to take second under Gary Carroll for Gavin Cromwell, while the well-backed Denham Sound (14s in early shows and from 9/2 into 3/1 favouritism on-course) was another length and a half back in third, with Billy Lee aboard this one for Charles Byrnes.

Purcell said afterwards: "He loves that ground and it couldn't be quick enough for him. Hopefully we'll have a summer like this!

"We might go to Galway for the amateur handicap and will probably get into it now and he'll run if the ground is suitable."
