The ultra-competitive Grade C Bourn Vincent Memorial Handicap Chase is the feature at Killarney this evening, with the Gordon Elliott trained Bright New Dawn heading the 15-strong field.

The son Presenting has had a busy time of it so far this year, running nine times, taking in the Festivals at Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown.

He landed the valuable Grade B Three.ie Handicap Chase at the Punchestown Festival, and will bid to add another big pot now with Bryan Cooper in the saddle. Hurricane Ben who was running in point-to-points earlier this year, is the most interesting contender in the line-up.

The progressive son of Beneficial has won his last three, and Barry Geraghty has been booked to ride the seven-year-old here.

Henry de Bromhead is represented by Stellar Notion who won at Listowel last month, and Tisamystery and the former is likely to have plenty of supporters with Andrew Lynch in the saddle.

The hat-trick-seeking Lily The Lioness should give a good account of herself, with Jack Kennedy getting the leg-up, while the same can be said for Mr Fiftyone and Empresario. Tiger Roll for Gordon Elliott and Bryan Cooper, is also seeking a hat-trick of wins as he takes his chance in the concluding Bunkers Bar & Restaurant Killorglin Novice Chase.

The 2014 Triumph Hurdle winner struck on his debut over fences at Ballinrobe in May, before following up at Kilbeggan last month.

He is stepped up in trip to two-mile-six now, and he should be able to get the better of main rivals Valyssa Monterg Sandymount Duke and The Winkler

The other chase on the card, the MC Group Handicap, looks a competitive affair, with Curragh Golan Glenwood Forever and Shake It Up a few names to consider.

The card starts off with four races on the level, and in the opener, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, Mr Ormsby and Sean O'Casey look the two to focus on.

Aidan O'Brien trains Sean O'Casey, and his General Macarthur should prove hard to beat in the Celtic Steps The Show At Killarney Racecourse Rated Race. Sister Blandina Sing For Me No Biggie and Papal Motel are worth close scrutiny in the International Hotel Killarney Handicap, while Affinisea Hidden Cyclone and Pyromaniac are the stand-out names in the McSweeney Arms Hotel (Q.R.) Race.
