Leading Equine companies support Naas

Naas Racecourse have announced that Irish equine nutrition company Plusvital are one of a number of industry companies to step up and support the racing industry during this challenging time.

The industry nutrition experts will sponsor the Plusvital Irish EBF Polonia Stakes which will be the feature race on Saturday June 20th. The fixture will be broadcast by RTE.

While Plusvital have been sponsoring races in the Irish calendar for many years, this the first time they have sponsored at Naas.

Plusvital General Manger Ciara Watt commented: “Plusvital is an Irish company and this sponsorship underpins our commitment to supporting Irish racing and our valued customer base in testing times. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Naas Racecourse and all our customers for their support over the last few months and wish everyone in the industry the very best of luck for the remainder of the season.’’

New sponsors to Naas’ portfolio also include Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital and Compas Stallions who will sponsor the Woodlands Stakes and Committed Stakes this coming Monday when racing in Ireland resumes behind closed doors. The Irish EBF recently announced their commitment to Irish racing by increasing prize money to €2.5 million. A number of existing sponsors including Sobac Soil and Clinton Higgins Chartered Accountants will increase their annual sponsorship spend and sponsor races in the coming two weeks.
