Lever Du Soleil made all under Andrew Lynch to take division two of Gowran Park's three-year-old maiden hurdle.

He was an easy to back 5/2 chance and this gave him compensation for falling at Punchestown when clear at the second-last a week ago.

He closed out today's contest by two and a quarter lengths from the 13/8 favourite Future Proof Way Back Home completed the placings a length further back at 25/1.

Trainer Gavin Cromwell said: “I had myself under pressure as I didn’t know if I was making the right decision declaring him for today. It was a big ask for a juvenile as he went hard at it last week and got a horrible fall. But he was grand the next morning and was rode out all week and was fine.

“He’s only a low rated Flat horse but jumping wins it for him. I don’t know where he’ll go from here. It’s very hard for juveniles unless you’re really good.”
