Lizzies Champ cut down Tranquil Magic to comfortably win the two mile handicap hurdle in Limerick.

Patrick Kelly 's four-year-old gelding attracted support in the ring as his SP was recorded at 10/1 from an opening show of 16/1.

Rachael Blackmore conjured a finish out of him as he collared Tranquil Magic coming to the last. From there he scooted away on the run-in to prevail by six and a half lengths.

Tranquil Magic had to settle for second at 20/1. Might Be Magic was third, beaten 10 and a half lengths by the winner. He was 9/1 from 14s.

Rachael Blackmore said: “That’s my first winner for Pat. He’s a lovely horse and quickened up really well.”
