It has been a long time between drinks for Lockeen Girl (5-1 jf) but she got her second career success by a length and a half in the Tom Murphy Car Sales (Mercedes Benz) Mares Handicap Hurdle at Tramore.

Tom Mullins' eight-year-old mare outgunned Comehere Hi (7/1) with Realta Dawn six lengths away in third at 8/1 from 14s.

David Mullins said: "She is actually a decent enough mare. She has had a lot of good runs and she's had excuses for her bad ones.

"It's brilliant to finally get a win with her. I thought I'd get an easier lead than I did but she's put it all together today thank God."

She last tasted success (for George Webb) in a bumper at Kilbeggan in August 2015.
