The Paul Fahey trained Lots Of Memories was rewarded for five previous placed efforts (including four runner-up runs) when gaining his maiden win in the concluding Attheraces.com INH Bumper at Punchestown today.

Ridden by the trainer's nephew Mark Fahey, the son of Jammaal battled gamely in the straight to see off the challenge of Real Steel and Sizing Chile

Trainer Fahey later stated “he (Lots Of Memories) has been knocking on the door and to be honest I didn't think he'd win one!”

Regarding the winner, backed into 10/1 (from 16s), he added “but we felt 'why not go to our local track and have a day out?'!”

“He'll go on his holidays now and will make a nice hurdler next season.”
