Stones Peak (6/4f) maintained the amazing recent run of Pat Martin, when winning the Winders Electrical Supporting KARE Handicap at The Curragh today, proving the seventh winner in the last 14 days for the trainer.

Ridden by high class apprentice jockey Ronan Whelan, Stones Peak, who was following up her Naas win ten days ago, stated on well inside the final furlong for a length and a quarter win over Battleroftheboyne

Martin wasn't present for the win but was represented by Bernard Caldwell who explained “Pat is on his way back from his holidays in Killarney - everything is in good hands at home and his staff are working hard.

“Stones Peak did it well and got a good ride from Ronan – the horses are flying at the moment and Stones Peak's owners (also successful with California Rose) are having a great week too!”
