The consistent That's Not Me (7/1) made the breakthrough on start number ten in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Dundalk.

Danny Sheehy sported the silks of owner Emlyn Patterson on the Anthony McCann-trained runner, and the daughter of Dandy Man popped out and made all.

The successful chestnut drew away in the closing stages to account for favourite Recovery Road by three and a quarter lengths.

“Everyone thought she was exposed but she's a good filly and she's improved every time,” said McCann.

“She's just been the bridesmaid every time. She looked to have good horses behind her then and she put them to bed very early.

“She broke very well which was probably the winning of the race as she was drawn 10 so she needed to break that well to win.

“I'm very happy for the boys as they've supported me. It's my first two-year-old winner as well and to win a two-year-old maiden is a big thing.

“We were going through a very bad spell in the yard and were hoping to have a couple on the board before now. That's the first one on the board and hopefully a few more will come along now.

“She loves the surface. She's a Dandy Man filly and will go on nearly any surface. Danny said she's not ground dependent.

“We got an offer in the last day after she finished third. She's won now so hopefully we can hold on to her.

“I'd love to have her in January and maybe look for a Listed race and see if she's good enough for that.

“I think she's stepping up and that will bring her on again. She was going away at the line.”
