After a busy and highly successful season Ado McGuinness currently has two of his standard-bearers, Bowerman and Current Option, on a break.

Bowerman won the Lincoln and the Diamond Stakes, whilst Current Option struck in the Ahonoora Handicap, the Platinum Stakes and the Concorde Stakes. Further big prizes could be on the horizon for the duo.

“We have given Bowerman and Current Option a break as I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get into Bahrain with Bowerman next month," said McGuinness.

“He will go to Dundalk and hopefully qualify for the All-Weather Championships in Lingfield.

“We went to France last year with him but we had to do that to get him qualified and then it didn’t happen.

“Hopefully we will get into one of the Middle East Festivals with Current Option. There is the Saudi race, Qatar and also Dubai so we’ll aim for one of them.”
