Off The Charts flew home on the run-in to land the spoils in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase at Ballinrobe. Caniwillyegiveme looked to have matters in hand when jumping the last in the lead but was chased down close home by Martin Brassil's charge.

The JP McManus-owned gelding, supported from 8/1 this morning into 5/1, got a great drive from in-form claimer Donie McInerney on the run-in to get up in the dying strides for a head win.

The winner had been pulled up on his last three starts in February and March of this year. He was wearing a tongue-tie for the first time today.

“It was hard to know but I was happy with the way he was doing everything at home. It’s a pleasant surprise with the way he had been running before,” said Brassil.

“Those country fences suit him better than the bigger tracks. He’s not a huge horse.

“If I could resurrect some of his previous form he was entitled to win one of those.

“He’s (McInerney) full of confidence.

“I was waiting to get a bit of summer soft. We’ll see where we go now.

"I have him since May when Sandra (Hughes) finished up."
