The Monday Jury page at the start of the week in the Racing Post asked Sean Flanagan to identify a sure-fire future winner from the last few days. His answer — Moulin A Vent — and those that took the hint were rewarded at odds of 5/4 when the grey landed the Happy Christmas From All At Fairyhouse Beginners Chase.

Flanagan said he was very impressed with Moulin A Vent's third placing behind Invitation Only and Any Second Now at Navan a week ago.

The Sagamix gelding came forward lovely from that effort, asserting up the straight under Flanagan to defeat Monbeg Notorious by eighteen lengths.

Winning trainer Noel Meade said: "We think the world of this fella but jumping has been a real problem with him over hurdles and his first run (over fences at Down Royal) he didn't really fire. I don't know what happened him.

"He only made one mistake last week and today he was really good. He has an engine and he stays. He could climb high enough if he got his jumping together.

"Seeing as he's had two runs in a week, Christmas will probably come too soon. There is a three-mile Grade 3 (Woodlands Park 100) Novice Chase at Naas next month that he could go for next. A Genie In Abottle won this race last year and then finished second to Anibale Fly in that race at Naas."
