Amateur jockey Jody Townend registered her fourth career success, and more importantly her first for new boss Willie Mullins, when landing the concluding EBF (Mares)(Ladies Pro/AM) Bumper at Roscommon today on the Champion Trainer's Supreme Trix

Townend is a sister to Mullins' former Champion Jockey Paul Townend and having partnered his first winner for Ted Walsh on Minnie Dahill at Bellewstown last Wednesday, today completed a memorable double with Supreme Trix, which won despite wandering, through greeness, in the closing stages.

Townend later said “I starting doing a day-a-week last August or September and last week I started doing three days so it's nice to be getting those sort of opportunities.

“The whole way around she was green but when she learns about racing she'l be a lot better.”
