No stranger to riding winners on No Nay Never horses, Seamie Heffernan was aboard another when No Trouble made the first split of the Join Us On Instagram @dundalk_stadium Handicap his own.

What was unusual about this one was that it wasn’t for Ballydoyle, as Heffernan teamed up with five-year-old No Trouble for owner Cathal McGuckin and trainer John McConnell.

A sixth winner in the past eight days for the McConnell yard, 15/2 shot No Trouble won this in good fashion, by five lengths from Eden Gardens

“We knew he’d run well and he was unlucky last time in Galway where he got blocked everywhere. The time before that he was coming back off a break and was too keen and fresh,” said McConnell.

“The race probably worked out well as they went hard in front and the pace fell apart and he picked up the pieces. I hope the handicapper takes that into consideration.

“He’s a grand big horse and obviously likes it around here. He’s very straight forward and I’m sure he’ll be back here.

“He might jump a hurdle and I’m delighted for the owner (Cathal McGuckin) who is super to train for.”
