Joseph O'Brien partnered his first winner as a fully fledged jockey when Up recorded a cosy success in the fillies maiden at Dundalk.
The daughter of Galileo made the most of getting in from second reserve to open her account at the second time of asking.
O'Brien held his mount up in the early stages before switching wide early in the straight.
The Ballydoyle charge quickened into the lead at the furlong pole and stayed on strongly inside the final furlong to record a length-and-a-quarter success.
Stable-mate Wonderful stayed on nicely on her debut to take second.
The winner had been available at 12/1 this morning but was strongly back on track after getting a run, punted from 7/2 into 2/1 favourite.
It was a significant improvement on her sole previous run at the Curragh back in May when she had faded to finish eleventh after racing prominently.
"She's a nice filly and loved that fast surface," said O'Brien who was delighted to get his first winner without the claim. "The first winner is the hardest! It's good to get that one over."
