Paddy Power bookmakers have increased their support of the Curragh Racecourse by sponsored some new races for the 2020 season.

The company has taken over sponsorship of next weekend's Lincolnshire Handicap from Tote Ireland and will also add its name to the Rockingham Handicap on 28th June, The Scurry on 18th July, Irish Cambridgeshire on 28th August and the Irish Cesarewitch on 11th October, while we have also agreed to continue to sponsor the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes taking place on Irish Oaks Day.

As part of their reaffirmed support, in addition to the race sponsorship they have also renewed their contract to manage the on course betting shop which will be in operation once the current behind closed doors restrictions are lifted.

Paddy Power said: “We are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with the Curragh with the renewal of our on-course betting shop, and are looking forward to responsibly supporting a strong series of races across the season. We always want to invest at the heart of the action, and show we are committed to Irish racing.”
