Pak Army gained back-to-back Dundalk wins in the concluding Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap (div 2) at the Co Louth venue today, scoring for trainer Shay Barry and jockey Rory Cleary.

The son of Arcano gained his maiden win in a Dundalk handicap in September and while he was subsequently well beaten at Gowran last month, today beat runner-up Caronda by two and a half lengths.

Trainer Barry later stated “he ran over hurdles in Gowran the last day and got a dirty cut behind which held him up for ten days or so but he loves being fresh.

“He seems to love here and we’ll definitely be back again. Rory said he won well and galloped away well to the line.

“He won over a mile and a half here before. He has plenty of boot and I’m delighted with that.”
