Path Of Silver swooped to annex the mile handicap in Gowran Park for Dick Brabazon and Oisin Orr.

The 9/2 favourite had plenty on her plate behind a wall of horses sweeping into the home straight.

Orr switched her across the track to mount her challenge on the outside over a furlong out.

She loomed large upsides Texas Radio inside the final furlong and got on top in the final 50 yards to win going away by three parts of a length. Full Disclosure (5/1) got up for second from Texas Radio at 8/1.

Dick Brabazon said: “She’s a game filly. I would have fancied her a lot today only she disappointed at Navan and I don’t know why. Maybe she needs these twisting tracks.

"She’s not high class but she’s game and was in good form today.”
