With his sights lowered Elysian Plains got off the mark on start number five, in the www.fairyhouse.ie Claiming Race.
In the hands of Colin Keane, Elysian Plains got the better of the pace-setting Dani's Boy from over a furlong.
Owned by Anamoine Limited and trained by Ger Lyons, the successful 13/8 favourite went on to oblige by three and a quarter lengths.
"It's job done. He's better than a claimer obviously and he's after doing that well," said Lyons.
"He won't be a horse for another six months time and that's typical of the sire's progeny.
"I'd be very surprised if he's not claimed. If half the people that rang us put in claims then there will be plenty in for him.
"He's done his job, there will be no hard feelings, and I wish him the best of luck to the next person."
Gordon Elliott claimed both Elysian Plains (for Raymond Moore) and Viscount Wilson (in his own name) after this event.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Elysian Plains, ridden by C.T. Keane and Dani's Boy, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, where it appeared that Dani's Boy ran short of room and checked.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise C.T. Keane to ride with more awareness in the future.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Dani's Boy trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked in the straight.
