Galway Plate second placer Alelchi Inois justified odds of 4/9 with ease, beating the fifth home in the week's highlight, Clarcam by no less than thirty two lengths under Ruby Walsh in the At The Races Chase at Ballybrit.

It was 14/1 bar the front two and it worked out the same way out on the track with Alelchi Inois and Clarcam having it to themselves from some way out.

From the second last the Luke McMahon-owned and Willie Mullins-trained Alelchi Inois left Clarcam very much in his wake. There was a further fourteen lengths back to He Rock's in third.

"I didn't expect as much pace but it suited him and his jumping really came into play. He loves it here," said Mullins on his seventh winner of the week.

"The plan all along has been the Gran Premio Merano (in September), although he will get an entry in the Kerry National. Sometimes the ground can be too soft at Listowel.

"He could be a National horse next year."

Meanwhile Gail Carlisle is leaving the Willie Mullins yard to go to America.

Mullins paid tribute saying: "Gail has been a huge part of our team for about eight or ten years. She has played a huge part in the careers of the likes of Hurricane Fly and Douvan, and will be missed."
