Prince Roco scores for Murphy

Colm Murphy´s Prince Roco was the narrow winner of the Donoghue Group Hurdle at Naas this evening.

Ridden by promising amateur jockey Matt O´Connor, the gelding responded well for pressure to eventually stick his head out to lead at the line for a head and a head win over Archie Boy and Buchaill Dubh

Afterwards Murphy reported "Prince Roco has a habit of clouting a few hurdles but is really a chaser. All he´ll do is improve and he is a summer horse."
