Prince awarded race on first start for Cullen

Prayer from Heaven finished first past the post in Division Two of the Dysart Maiden Hurdle but after a Stewards Enquiry he was demoted to second with the runner-up Walden Prince being awarded the race.

Coming to the last Walden Prince was squeezed for room as he was sandwiched between Prayer from Heaven and Summersinerrill He was then switched by his rider Eddie O'Connell and stayed on strongly on the run-in, going down by just a head.

However a Stewards Enquiry was called quickly after race and they reversed the placings of the first two home.

Prayer from Heaven trained by Pat Hogan and ridden by Eddie Power was returned at 20/1 while the winner Walden Prince trained by Denis Cullen was returned at 15/2, having being backed from 8/1 this morning.

The winning 4yo son of Saffron Walden was having his first run for Cullen.
