Probably justified his odds of 1-2 favourite as he ran out a convincing winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Colts & Geldings Maiden for his trainer David Wachman with Billy Lee in the saddle.

The son of Danehill Dancer finished a good third on his debut at the Curragh over six furlongs behind Lines Of Battle last month.

Stepped up a furlong this evening he led early but was then settled in second behind Newberry Hill He challenged that one over two furlongs out before hitting the front over a furlong from home.

He stayed on well from there and asserted inside the final furlong to score by two lengths.

The Aidan O’Brien trained newcomer Kingston Jamaica kept on well to take second at 7/1 under Seamie Heffernan while the Ger Lyons trained Abbey Vale was a neck back in third at 25/1.

Winning trainer David Wachman said afterwards: "He is a grand horse. Seven furlongs to a mile is his trip. We will step him up now to Listed or Group company as the year progresses.

"He is a very straightforward type who goes on any ground."

Probably hold entries in both the Railway Stakes (Group 2) on June 30th and the the National Stakes (Group 1) on September 15th.
