Punchestown good to yielding before Durkan

It looks set to be nice jumping ground for the three fixtures scheduled for Ireland this weekend.

Navan race on Saturday and the going is currently yielding. There will be fresh ground on the hurdle course.

The forecast is generally dry over the coming days in the area.

The John Durkan Chase is the highlight at Punchestown on Sunday and the ground is currently good to yielding, yielding in places.

They will be using the inside hurdle track, finishing on the main straight. Mist and showers are forecast.

Cork also race on Sunday and the going is currently yielding to soft, yielding in places (hurdle) and yielding, yielding to soft in places (chase). There was 2mm of rain overnight in Mallow.
