There was drama at the final fence for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase at Fairyhouse today as the Sean O'Brien trained winner R'evelyn Pleasure benefitted from the final fence fall of leader Getaway Kid

Getaway Kid held a three parts of a length advantage over chasing pair R'evelyn Pleasure and Agent Boru at the last but crashed out at that final obstacle leaving R'evelyn Pleasure, under Donagh Meyler, to edge out Agent Boru on the run-in and score a half length win.

Afterwards O'Brien said “I fancied him going to Limerick but he jumped terrible down there. He missed the start and was never happy.

“I was very happy coming here today for the nice ground. The ground was gorgeous out there. Donagh gets a great tune out of him. He keeps things so simple on him and he jumps great for him.

“We were in the right place at the right time. We had a bit of luck at the last but it was wonderful. He deserved it as he's a good little horse.

“He may head to Leopardstown, depending on what mark he gets, on the Saturday for the 0-150 two-mile-one handicap chase.

“Otherwise we'll keep to these novice conditions races if we can.”
