Rare Bob Gets a Deserved Win

Rare Bob got the win his talent richly deserved when losing his maiden tag at the fourteenth attempt in the April Festival Beginners Chase. He got the job done in real good style by eight lengths under Paddy Flood to complete a double for Dessie Hughes who had earlier been on the mark with Vinatieri

Of course Rare Bob beat Trafford Lad at this course back in October, before losing the race in the steward's room.

Hughes commented: "That was a good performance, he stays well and jumps well. He'll take his chance in the P.J. Moriarty Chase next."
