Roly Poly will bid for a hat-trick in the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes at York on Thursday.

Aidan O'Brien's representative is among the eight fillies declared for the six-furlong contest as she aims to add to victories in the Grangecon Stud Stakes at the Curragh and Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket.

She is reopposed by fellow Irish challenger and Duchess of Cambridge runner-up Magical Fire, trained by Michael O'Callaghan.

Fair Eva is the star name in the line-up and next year's 1000 Guineas favourite is odds-on across the board as she bids to keep her unbeaten record intact at Group Two level on the Knavesmire.

Roger Charlton's youngster was hugely impressive on her racecourse debut at Haydock in June before providing the brilliant Frankel with his first Pattern-race success as a stallion with a breathtaking performance in last month's Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot.

There is another Frankel filly in opposition in the form of the Richard Fahey-trained Queen Kindly.

Two Catterick victories sandwich a fine effort to finish a close third in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot for the daughter of Lady Of The Desert, who won the Lowther in 2009.

Richard Hannon's Nations Alexander won the Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket less than a fortnight ago, but has ground to make up on Fair Eva and Roly Poly on previous form.

The Keith Dalgleish-trained Clem Fandango, David O'Meara's Fashion Queen and Kilmah from Mark Johnston's stable complete the field.
