The O'Brien family's Sea Of Blue was popular in the betting this morning, even before Ivanovich Gorbatov did them proud in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. The Fastnet Rock filly capped off a great day for the record-breaking clan in the finale at Dundalk, the Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay Handicap.

The successful four-year-old eventually went off the 13/8 favourite, and she responded well to Donnacha O'Brien's urgings to get up close home to defeat second market choice, Locus Standi by a neck, with the same margin back to Maple Hill in third.

"She's idle but she was gutsy when I asked her, and hopefully there is another one in her," commented the winning rider.
