Back in trip Kilna Shane (Damian Skehan up) reversed course form with eventual third home, Shake It Up (6/4 favourite), from May 6th, when winning the East Down Pt To Pt Committee Hunters Chase at Downpatrick.

The Joe Delaney-owned and bred son of Gamut jumped better on this occasion, and the fact that he was more fluent at the last than Theatre Princess probably proved crucial as he defeated that one by a length and a quarter.

Kilna Shane's trainer Mark Quigley said: "He jumped better today and the little bit of juice in the ground helped him.

"He wants a little bit of juice in the ground and we were hoping for a bit of rain.

"He will probably go to Listowel and I had a bit of confidence in him here. He didn't jump the last day but came out of the race fresh.

"I have eight point-to-pointers in."

Winning connections are from County Laois and it was a first victory on the track for Quigley since Mullagh Abu won at this course on May 7th 2010.
