Eagle-eyed punters who saw the form of Repare Mon s last race franked tonight would have enjoyed a 7/1 winner.

The four-year-old filly returned to Dundalk earlier this month, after a spin over hurdles, and finished fourth to Rock On Dandy

Rock On Dandy then followed up on the preceding race on this card.

Pat Smullen was booked for Repare Mon this evening. His mount chased the leaders into the straight in Division Two of the mile and a half handicap before she was asked for her effort over two furlongs out.

She swept through on the inside to take a narrow lead over a furlong from home. The whips were soon drawn on her and Pass The Ball in second.

It was Repare Mon who saw it out best to land the prize by a length from 11/8 favourite Pass The Ball. Taste The Salt was a short head adrift of the runner-up in third at 25/1.

Smullen brought up a double on Repare Mon having earlier scored on Adaliya

Trainer Tom Mullins said: "She won here twice before in the spring and stays well. The run last week probably just blew her out and left her spot on for tonight.

"She might run here next week or she might go for a handicap hurdle at Leopardstown. We'll have a look at the entries and see."
