Gibbstown went down with all guns blazing in her bid to land Hexham's Super League Betting At 188Bet Handicap Chase for the third time.

The 11-4 favourite Hattons Hill had obliged over three miles at the Northumberland track just 12 days earlier and repeated the trick over the course and distance under 3lb claimer Jamie Hamilton.

He got the better of a prolonged duel by a length and three-quarters from Paul Stafford's Dublin raider Gibbstown.

Trainer Henry Hogarth said: "It was very testing but he seems to like that kind of ground. It just slows the others up a bit and he just gallops.

"It was very similar conditions to his previous win 12 days ago and he's in such good form so it was very nice to follow up with a win like that.

"I haven't got anything specific in mind. We'll see how he is and if we could find another one here it wouldn't go amiss because this is the type of track he likes. We'll try to find one before we give him a summer break."

Modulus (6-1) completed a three-week hat-trick when taking the 188Bet Handicap Hurdle.

The in-form eight-year-old, trained by Peter Winks and ridden by his son Ryan, outfought Barrys Jack on the run-in to supplement his previous gains at Newcastle and Sedgefield earlier in the month.

Modulus was half a length up at the line, with the Stafford-trained Dubai Devils a further two and a quarter lengths back in third place.

Lucinda Russell's Orioninverness (5-1), ridden by 5lb claimer Stephen Mulqueen, got the better of long-time leader Under The Red Sky from the final fence to land a cosy five-length success in the grandnational.com Handicap Chase.

Bruichladdich (8-1) came from a long way back to land an unlikely victory in the Premier League Darts At 188Bet Novices' Hurdle in the hands of Henry Brooke.

Storm Forecast, the 10-11 favourite, was clear turning for home but got lonely in front and was collared on the run-in and had to settle for second place, one length behind the Iain Jardine-trained winner.

Brian Harding enjoyed an armchair ride on King Of Fashion, the 4-9 shot landing the odds with some ease in the 188bet.co.uk Novices' Hurdle for trainer Ian Duncan.

Sandy Thomson's Baracalu (4-1) ran his rivals ragged as he overcame an absence of 359 days to run out an easy winner of the Live Casino At 188Bet Maiden Open National Hunt Flat Race under 7lb claiming amateur Ryan Nichol.
