Strandfield wins Dundalk finale

The concluding [email protected] Rated Race at Dundalk this evening went off 12 minutes late with victory in the end going to the Harry Rogers trained Strandfield Lady

Ridden by Chris Hayes, the six year old mare stayed on well in the centre of the track, eventually getting to the front a furlong out before recording a comfortable win.

Afterwards Rogers stated “Strandfield Lady has been a good old servant - all her best form has been around Leopardstown but the surface here seems to suit her ok.

“They went quick enough and that suited her. She’ll probably come back here again and find another 1m2f or 1m4f race for her.”
