Review TIPPERARY 19th Jul

< In Technicolor was reunited with Davy Russell for the first time since the nine-year-old's only victory over two years ago and they proved a winning combination in the Tote Jackpot Races 3 to 6 Handicap Chase.

Held up towards the rear in the two-and-a-half-mile contest, Arthur Moore's 10-1 shot made a forward move with three to jump and threw down a strong challenge to long-time leader Irish Nation in the straight.

There wasn't much between the pair over the last two obstacles, but In Technicolor stayed on best up the run-in to score by a length and a half.

Favourite Lukie Victor was going well just off the pace when he came to grief just as the race was getting serious.< Invincible Ash gave favourite-backers no cause for alarm as she sauntered away with the five-furlong Castlepark Stud Maiden.

Michael Halford's filly was always close to the pace and she showed ahead with a furlong and a half to run.

Once Johnny Murtagh pressed the button the race was quickly over as Invincible Ash (5-4) stretched clear to beat the running-on Babel by two and a half lengths.

Murtagh tried to make all on favourite Tarrsille in the Mocklershill Stables Nursery as he sought a quick double, and it looked on the cards as he led into the final furlong.

However, the favourite emptied on the run for home and Thecreditcrunchie who had looked held, stayed on really well under Wayne Lordan to grab the prize in the last 50 yards.

Tommy Stack's 3-1 shot won by three-quarters of a length, and the fast-finishing Look Officer was only a further head away in third.

The nine-furlong Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden went to another Michael Halford inmate, Stairway To Glory

The 9-2 shot showed a useful turn of foot when shaken up by Rory Cleary a furlong out to sweep past favourite Lizzie Bennett and score by three and a half lengths.
