Tennis Cap gave Willie Mullins a quick double at Cork when proving too good for the opposition in the two and a half mile beginners' chase.

Mullins had landed the preceding race on the card - the featured Grade Three Imperial Call Chase with 9/10 favourite On His Own

The eight-year-old gelding had been off track since April 2013 when returning at Naas in a beginners' chase last month. He was a beaten favourite at odds on that day as he came home third of the four runners.

However, he showed the benefit of that reappearance when dominating this chase. The field were well strung out with Drumlee and Rafi De Triana only able to keep him in their sights.

Once Tennis Cap popped the second last he pulled away and scored for the first time over fences. He was returned the 5/4 favourite and put 13 lengths on Rafi De Triana (9/2), who was a length and a half in front of 16/1 chance Ronava
