The Cheltenham Bumper is an option for The Real Article following the gelding's third win, in as many runs, in the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Bumper at Tipperary today.
Again ridden by James Carroll, who has now partnered four winner from five rides for the yard, the son of Definite Article made all to score an effortless 11 lengths win.
Afterwards winning trainer Edward O'Grady stated "The Real Article is an exciting prospect but its hard to know what to do with him next! We could put him away for the Cheltenham Bumper in March or we could go hurdling now - he jumps very well so hopefully he'll make a better hurdler than bumper horse!
