Tintangle gave Gordon Elliott a treble at Down Royal and four winners on the day when running out a game winner of the concluding bumper at 'the Maze'.

The Gigginstown mare was sent to post an 8/11 shot for the finale after a promising run to finish fourth to subsequent Cheltenham bumper winner Relegate on her debut at Leopardstown last month.

The daughter of Yeats was free in the early stages but Lisa O'Neill soon had her restrained and disputing the lead. Caravation looked a big threat when moving up to dispute two furlongs from home but the hotpot found plenty in the closing stages to assert for a five-and-a-half length win.

"She's a nice mare, she's a mare for next year. She's a big backward mare but she will be okay,” said Elliott.

“She's a fine big mare and she'll come on a lot from that. She'll be a big chaser."

And on the four winners today, he added: "Another good day, we'll keep it going."
