Beautiful Ben strives to continue his forward momentum in the Woodrooff Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel on Thursday.

Denis Hogan saddled and steered the five-year-old to a Killarney success and the partnership then proved that was no fluke when failing by only a neck to justify favouritism at Bellewstown last week.

Most Honourable has also been kept busy and although a trip to Cartmel proved fruitless, he is now 13lb lower and just 5lb higher than last month's Tramore victory.

Top-weight Santo Prince struck on the level at Wexford last weekend and is another to consider in a wide-open affair.

Master Appeal seems to save his best for Tramore and scored there when last seen in action so it might be worth taking him on in the Derrygrath Opportunity Handicap Hurdle, especially after the assessor hit him with a 5lb rise.

Ocean Glandore, another to represent Denis Hogan, has been in excellent heart this summer and reverts to timber after a decent third in a beginners chase.

It is, in fact, an all-hurdles card, kicking off with the Mylerstown Maiden Hurdle at 4.30.

Spicy Fruity is edging closer to the winner's enclosure but the one to beat is undoubtedly the Willie Mullins-trained Listen Dear, who is beginning to prove expensive to follow but will have her fair share of supporters again.

Her stablemate Bobarlee hasn't exactly shown the Mullins sparkle in two bumper outings so it could be best to look elsewhere in the Munster (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race, with Simiel an obvious alternative.

Joy Neville hit the crossbar when fancied for a Killarney handicap and may find jumps newcomer Fu's Island a tough nut to crack in the Kilsheelan Mares Maiden Hurdle.

Useful Flat handicapper Coolfighter isn't the same force over obstacles but should give a good account in the New Inn Opportunity Maiden Hurdle.
