Tough Talkin Man wins Roscommon finale

Kilkenny based traine Seamus Roche was on the mark in the concluding Four Roads Maiden Hurdle at Roscommon when his Tough Talkin Man ran out the length and a quarter winner under Paul Townend.

The son of Bob’s Return led from two out before staying on well to defeat Pops Rocket with 5/6 favourite Start Me Up back in third.

Afterwards Roche stated “we were hoping for a nice run but didn’t expect Tough Talkin Man to win today but it is great to get it! It is my first win since October 2007 and I have eight horses in training at present, mainly point to pointers.”

“Tough Talkin Man’s owner Marie Robinson rides him out every day.”
